Stretch marks

Stretch marks are caused by microtears to the connective tissue support of the skin. Some stretchmarks can also be red and discoloured.

In order to improve stretchmarks we need to stimulate the production of new collagen. This is best achieved using Microneedle Fractional Radiofrequency treatment, and in some cases this may be combined with Fractional CO2 laser treatment. To treat red stretch marks we may also use BBL treatment to improve this aspect as part of the treatment plan.

In addition to laser treatment, there are a number of prescribed dermatological formulations that can also assist in improving stretchmarks.
