Rosacea Redness

Rosacea can present in a number of different ways. One common type of rosacea affects the fine blood vessels in the skin, resulting in flushing, redness of the skin and visible fine vessels. This vascular form of rosacea is caused by the blood vessels being more responsive to or receiving to many nerve signals. Traditional medical therapies, such as anti-inflammatory antibiotics are often ineffective for this redness.
